Balas Distributing is a family-owned and operated business that was founded in Freeland, PA in 1946. We are located at 14 Foster Avenue, and serve customers from our own community as well as the surrounding areas of Hazelton and Wilkes-Barre. Our mission is to keep customers coming back to us for their automotive service and tire needs. Customers can contact us online, or feel free to stop in and visit us personally! We’re open Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturday 7:30am to 1:30pm. We’ve been family-owned and operated since 1946!

We understand that buying new tires is an investment, and we want to help you get the most out of your investment. Come to us for flat repairs, tire rotations and computer spin balancing as well.
We offer a number of auto services that will keep your vehicle running at peak performance levels. Our technicians are fully qualified to work on most vehicle makes and models. We offer oil changes, brakes, wheel alignments and are a State Inspection facility. Customers from the Freeland, Hazelton and Wilkes-Barre communities can visit us Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturday 7:30am to 1:30pm.
